Thanks for Everything 2019! We’re on to 2020
With 2019 approaching its conclusion, now is a great time to look ahead to bigger and better things in 2020.
2019 has been … an experience. For me, this year’s highlights include:
- Watching my son grow.
- Finalizing my divorce.
- Moving into a new apartment.
- Running multiple road races (5Ks and 10Ks).
- Meeting many amazing people and making new friends.
- Working with great clients across a wide range of industries.
- Performing karaoke.
- Going ziplining.
I feel like I learned a lot in 2019, and I feel like 2020 will be more of the same — only better.
So, here are my resolutions for the new year:
1. Learn As Much As Possible, Every Day
Full disclosure: learning is awesome! Next year, I will take advantage of Libby (a mobile app that allows me to download ebooks and audiobooks from my local library) and Skillshare (a website that offers free online classes in business, design and more) — and I encourage you to do the same.
2. Find New Ways to Challenge Myself
Life is challenging, and there is no telling what challenges will arise in the new year. Regardless of what happens in 2020, I will search for ways to challenge myself and find ways to rise to any challenges that come my way.
3. Settle for Nothing Less Than Exceptional
Exceptional work drives exceptional results. In the new year, I will do everything possible to make the exceptional an everyday occurrence and settle for nothing less than exceptional in all that I do.
A Final Word on 2019
The past year has been a unique experience, and I learned during this time. 2020 looks promising, and things may only improve from here.
Thank you for everything 2019! Now, we’re on to 2020 — and I very much look forward to it.
